BANGKOK, Thailand (19 September 2024) - Nissan invites interested college and university students nationwide to demonstrate their talents in content and marketing plan creation in the Nissan e-POWER Challenge 2024 under “The One and Only” concept. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with and join an inspiring workshop with professional content creators, produce creative content from scratch, and win big prizes, including a trip to Japan.

Nissan e-POWER Challenge 2024 is part of Nissan’s continuous youth development initiative, focusing on marketing and communication. This year, the challenge highlights Nissan’s proprietary e-POWER technology that offers 100% full EV driving experience to consumers without changing driving behavior to inspire participants to produce original content and sound marketing plan.

Toshihiro Fujiki, President of Nissan Thailand and ASEAN, said, “Nissan strongly believes in young people’s talent, capability and creative ideas. We have initiated several platform for them to show off their full capability, enabling them to actually produce and publicly distribute their works. As part of these activities, we partnered with gurus in different areas and invite them to share their knowledge and experience useful to help young participants challenge their limit. We believe, through participation in Nissan’s e-POWER Challenge, the young participants will develop and adopt important skills useful for future work. At the same time, they will learn more about Nissan’s innovative technology that enrich people’s life and mobility while reducing adverse impact on the environment.”

Nissan e-POWER Challenge 2024 will start recruiting interested teams from September-November 2024. Eligible teams should consist of no more than four members, all have to be college or university students, regardless of age and gender. During the recruitment, Nissan’s marketing team will hold a road show to different universities and colleges, bringing professional marketers and content creators like Am Sarun Bangkusolchit (Am Uppercut), Ou Virayut Lothongpanich (Ou wink wink), and Em Kajorn Chiaranaipanich, to share their experience and advice on how to create effective content and marketing plan.

Teams will be required to produce one-minute video content and a detailed marketing plan themed “e-POWER… YES! For Any Lifestyle”. Nissan’s judges will then select 10 best teams in each region and select only one team with outstanding works and idea within December 2024.

The regional winning teams will pass to the final round. They will receive a more challenging task that they have approximately two months to prepare and produce creative content and detailed marketing plan. The teams are required to post their works on at least one platform of their own social media and submit their marketing plan for consideration.
